This Poet's Problem with Problems - Shakespearian Sonnet

There are plenty of problems in this world

There are lots to face, so many to bear

Adversities flung, bombed, unfurled and hurled

Precious peaceful moments are very rare

Oh bother, why is our life so unfair?

Problems threaten lives with double edged knives

I have to fare in my own lonely lair

To eradicate such issues, I strive

Dire deceit and lies will arise

I am bored of the battlefield

I’ll fight before I pay my dreaded price

I will wield my shield before I should yield

There exist countless conflicts we should end

I believe we must mend through tend and befriend
